Our Rich History
Founded over a century ago, Camp Immokalee was established to provide a space where young people could build character, develop independence, and connect with nature. The camp’s early days were shaped by the vision of Reverend E.F. Montgomery, whose dedication to outdoor education in North Florida influenced the development of camps across the region. His love for nature and passion for guiding young people laid the foundation for the lasting legacy of Camp Immokalee—a place where generations of campers have learned, grown, and formed lifelong connections.
