Summer Overnight Camp
A week at camp gives kids enough time to really settle in. They make friends they didn’t arrive with, figure out which activities they want to do again tomorrow, develop cabin jokes nobody at home will understand, and get increasingly good at finding their own way through the day.
By Saturday, they know the place. They know the people. And they have a week of stories that belongs to them.

Summer 2027
Campers can come for one week or spend several weeks with us over the summer.
Summer 2027 dates and themes are coming soon!
Each session has its own theme that shows up in big games, evening programs, costumes, and surprises throughout the week. Some kids care a lot about which theme they choose. Others come because it’s the week their friend is coming, the week that works for their family, or simply the week they want to be at camp.
That’s completely fine. Your camper doesn’t have to love the theme to love the week. Most of their time is still spent doing the activities they choose, hanging out with their cabin, swimming, playing, and doing all the regular things that make summer at Immokalee summer.

Financial assistance is available because we don’t want cost to be the reason a kid misses camp.

What About Specialty Camps?
Most campers don’t add a Specialty Camp, and they aren’t needed to get the full Immokalee experience. They’re for kids who want to spend extra time focused on something they especially love, like horses or water sports.
If that’s your camper, you can add a Specialty Camp to their week during registration.
Your Camper Gets to Choose
Campers have a lot of say in how they spend parts of their day at Immokalee.
During activity periods, we offer several choices around camp, and campers decide what they want to do. They might try something completely new, go back to an activity they already love, or choose something simply because it sounds fun that day.
That choice is intentional. Camp gives kids room to figure out what they like, make some decisions for themselves, and have a week that feels like their own. Sometimes they’ll make the same choice you would have made for them. Sometimes they won’t.
Other parts of the day belong to their cabin or the whole camp, from meals and waterfront time to evening programs and big games.
You’re Sending Us Your Kid
We know that’s the real decision.
For a week, their counselors are the people eating meals with them, helping them navigate cabin life, cheering them on when they try something new, hearing their stories, and noticing when something doesn’t seem quite right.
They get to know your kid.
One parent told us that after camp, their daughter started asking to be tucked in at night. When they asked her why, she told them her counselor had tucked her in every night at camp, and she’d loved it.
That’s the kind of thing that matters to us. Her counselor had a whole cabin of kids to care for, and still got to know this camper well enough to create a bedtime routine she wanted to bring home with her.
We can’t tell you exactly who your camper will connect with or which parts of the week will matter most to them. But we can tell you what we’re working toward: a place where kids are known, cared for, and have people looking out for them while they’re away from you.
