Alumni at Camp Immokalee
“Immokalee” Means “My Home”—and It Always Will Be
For generations, Camp Immokalee has been a special kind of “home.” In the Mikasuki language, “Immokalee” means “my home,” a fitting name for a place that so many of us carry in our hearts. Whether you came to camp as a young camper, led activities as a counselor, or supported camp in other ways, you’re part of a legacy woven into this place’s spirit.
We know many of you have deep, personal ties to Camp Immokalee, and you’ve seen it grow and change over the years. The memories you created—around campfires, in cabins, on the lake—are still alive in every corner of camp. We’re reaching out to invite you to reconnect, share your stories, and continue to be part of Camp Immokalee’s journey forward.
Reconnect with us by filling out our Alumni Connect Form! By sharing your contact information, you’ll receive updates on alumni events, opportunities to get involved, and the latest stories from camp.

Supporting Camp Immokalee’s Future
If Camp Immokalee has been a meaningful part of your life, we’d be honored if you’d consider supporting camp for the next generation. Your contribution helps ensure that Camp Immokalee continues to offer the same spirit of friendship, adventure, and growth that you remember.

By giving to our scholarship fund, you’re helping make sure that all children, no matter their background, have a chance to experience the magic of Camp Immokalee. Your support means that more kids can experience their first campfire, make lifelong friends, and discover a place that feels like home.
- Sponsor a Project: Camp is constantly growing, and there are always ways to improve the experience for campers. If there’s a particular project you’d like to support—from new activity areas to facility upgrades—we’d love to work with you. Your contribution leaves a lasting mark on camp, ensuring it remains a place of wonder and connection for future generations. Reach out to us at cimmokalee@fcymca.org if you’re interested in a project.
