Summer Day Camp

At 9:00, they’re sitting down for breakfast with their group. By lunch, they’ve been out around camp playing games, making things, and maybe trying something big like the zipline or archery. The afternoon means more time outside, a chance to cool off, and more time with the kids they’ve been hanging out with all week.

Then you pick them up, take them home, and tomorrow they come back and do something different.

That’s Summer Day Camp at Camp Immokalee.

Two Ways to Spend the Summer

Day Camp | Ages 5–11

Day campers spend the day with their group and counselors, moving around camp together. Over the course of the week, they’ll swim, play games, make things, and get chances to try some of the big Camp Immokalee activities, too.

Their counselors are with them through the day, helping them find their way around, get to know their group, and be part of whatever comes next.

Adventure | Ages 12–14

Adventure gives older kids a little more room.

They spend much of their day alongside overnight campers, choosing activities and moving through more of the regular summer camp schedule. They still arrive in the morning and head home at night, but while they’re here, their day looks a lot more like an overnight camper’s.

It’s Day Camp for kids who are ready for more independence without being ready, or needing, to stay overnight.

Summer Means the Whole Camp Is Going

Summer Day Camp happens right in the middle of everything happening at Camp Immokalee.

The pool is open. Boats are on Lake Brooklyn. The zipline is running. The archery range is busy. The tube is out. There are games happening, things being made, and plenty going on that probably wasn’t on the schedule yesterday.

Day campers won’t do every activity every day, but over the course of a week, they get to experience a lot of camp.

Breakfast and lunch are included, too.

Swimming Is Part of Summer

With a pool and Lake Brooklyn, our campers spend plenty of time around water. So knowing how comfortable each kid is in the water matters to us.

We assess campers before they swim so our staff know where they’re comfortable and what support they need. Life jackets are always available (and required for everyone in the lake and our red swimmers in the pool), and campers who need some extra help in the water can work on those skills with us as part of their regular camp day.

There’s no extra program to sign up for and no additional cost. It’s just part of Day Camp.

A Few Things to Know

Drop-off is from 7:00–8:45 AM, and pick-up is from 4:30–6:00 PM.

During both windows, campers have games and activities they can easily join as families arrive and leave. If you need to pick up earlier than 4:30, just let us know ahead of time.

Plan for a full day of being outside and getting wet. Campers should bring a swimsuit, towel, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, and a change of clothes.

We’ll send registered families a complete packing list before camp.

Nope. Breakfast and lunch are included during Summer Day Camp. We’ll have cafeteria-like options and a breakfast and salad bar. If your camper has allergies or dietary restrictions, let us know in the paperwork, and we can accomodate.

If you’d rather send lunch from home, that’s totally fine, too!

Yep. Register for one week, several weeks, or choose All-Access for the full summer. We see it all different ways – choose what’s best for your family!

Day Camp is screen-free. Phones, tablets, smartwatches, and other connected devices should stay at home.

If you need to reach your camper during the day, call us. If we need you, we’ll call you.

You’re Trusting Us With Your Kid

Even if they come home every night, that’s a lot of their summer spent with us.

Their counselors are the people moving through the day with them, helping them into a life jacket, keeping track of the water bottle they’ve somehow lost again, navigating disagreements, and noticing when they need a little help.

Our year-round camp team is here all summer, too, along with our leadership team and trained summer staff.

You should know who your kid is spending their days with and how we take care of them.

Their Summer Starts Here

Maybe they’re coming for one week between vacations. Maybe you’ll be dropping them off every Monday morning for most of the summer.

Either way, there’s a lot waiting for them at Camp Immokalee.

Friends they haven’t met yet. Things they haven’t tried yet. A whole lot of playing outside. And plenty of stories to bring home at the end of the day.

We’d love to have them here.

Registration opens January 2027.
