Your Child’s Safety is Our Priority

When you send your child to Camp Immokalee, you’re placing your trust in us, and we take that seriously. All of our staff undergo rigorous training before the camp season begins, covering everything from child safety to emergency preparedness.

  • Level 2 Background Checks: Every staff member completes a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure they are fully cleared to work with children.
  • Drug Testing: All staff must pass a drug test as part of our commitment to safety.
  • Comprehensive Training: Our counselors receive extensive training in areas like first aid, child development, and activity safety to make sure they’re fully prepared to care for your child—not just physically, but emotionally as well.

You’ll gain valuable leadership experience, work in a supportive and fun environment, and be part of a team that’s committed to creating unforgettable summers for kids.

We also hire weekend retreat staff and kitchen staff to help with our seasonal programs. These part-time positions are perfect for those looking to work in a camp setting and help make every guest’s experience a positive one.
