Halloween Camp at YMCA Camp Immokalee
Because kids shouldn’t have to wait until next summer to be kids again.
October 23-25, 2026 • Grades 1-9
After two months of homework, practices, Chromebooks, and busy schedules, we’re bringing camp back. Three days of campfires, costumes, candy, laughter, and just the right amount of spooky fun.
Registration opens August 17.

It’s time for a break. Let’s make it ~spooky~.
By the time October rolls around, kids are back in the routine of school: jam-packed days of learning, sports, Chromebooks, homework, practices, and all the many things in between.
Kids are tired. It’s time for a break.
And that’s what we’re here for.
If you want your kid to come home refreshed (maybe not from more sleep, but definitely from real connection), this is your weekend.
Halloween Camp makes the most of the incredible October weather by getting kids outside and giving them a few days to just be kids.
No rushing from one thing to the next. No checking notifications. No homework waiting in the other room. Just friends, fresh air, ridiculous costumes, plenty of candy, and good old-fashioned, screen-free camp.
Sometimes kids just need camp. And Halloween Camp is a great time to get it.
You really can’t beat October weather at camp. The earlier sunsets over Lake Brooklyn give us better light shows than we could ever dream up, and for once in Florida, spending the whole day outside just feels good.
But that’s not really why Halloween Camp is one of our favorites.
We miss you.
After summer ends, we spend a lot of time dreaming, scheming, and missing the people who bring camp to life. Halloween Camp is the first time it all comes back.
So, naturally, we go a little overboard.
We start brainstorming months ahead. We make props. We build decorations. We dream up games. We debate exactly how spooky each Haunted Trail should be. Someone inevitably comes up with an idea that’s way more ambitious than it needs to be, and then we figure out how to make it happen.
And then Friday night comes.
For returning campers, it’s a reunion with the friends and counselors they’ve been missing since summer. For first-timers, it’s their first taste of what Camp Immokalee feels like.
By Sunday afternoon, nobody remembers who came together and who arrived knowing no one.
Camp feels like camp again.
And that’s why we love Halloween Camp.
