Teen Camp

A chance to be a camper again.

Teen Camp is a 3-night overnight session for rising 10th–12th graders, built for teens who want to experience camp with their peers, as campers.

Whether they’ve grown up at camp or are coming for the first time, this is a place to be here with other teens and actually experience it together.

Why this exists

By the time campers reach rising 10th grade, their time as a camper comes to an end. They can step into leadership programs, but they can’t have the responsibility-free, adventure-filled, all-about-them type of camp they used to.

Teen Camp gives them that back.

For a few days, they get to be at camp together, as campers, without being spread out across sessions or focused on younger groups. They’ll wake up later, do activities that appeal to older campers, and get to enjoy camp in the way they’re used to.

What it looks like

It’s still camp. Just adjusted for their age.

  • Later mornings
  • More choice in what they do during the day
  • More independence, within structure
  • All peers their age
  • Some activities we don’t usually get to with larger camp sessions

At the same time:

  • Staff are present and engaged at all times
  • No wandering around camp alone
  • Same screen-free expectations

Nothing about safety or supervision changes.

Doing this + leadership programs

A lot of teens will do both. They’ll spend part of the summer in Pathmakers or CIT, and then come to Teen Camp for something different.

No responsibilities. Just time to be at camp.

If your teen is interested in leadership, you can learn more about those programs here.
