School’s Out Day Camps
School’s closed. Work usually isn’t.
On select days when Clay County District Schools are closed, YMCA Camp Immokalee offers School’s Out Day Camp for kids ages 5–11.
Ages 5–11 • 7:00 AM–6:00 PM • $35/day
A Day Off at Camp
A day off from school means a day to play.
School’s Out campers spend the day with their group and counselors, playing games, making things, getting outside, and heading around Camp Immokalee for activities.
What we’re able to do changes throughout the year, so a School’s Out day in September may look different from one in February. Either way, kids get a day at camp, and their grown-ups get a school closure covered.
2026–2027 School Year
We hope to offer School’s Out Day Camp on select Clay County school closure days during the 2026–2027 school year.
Dates aren’t confirmed yet. When they are, we’ll post them here along with registration information.
School’s Out Day Camp is not offered for every school closure.
What Might We Do?
School’s Out Day Camp looks a little different each time we’re open.
Depending on the day, campers might try archery, canoeing or kayaking, crafts, games, nature activities, or other activities around Camp Immokalee. There’s always plenty of time to play, too.
Not every activity is available every School’s Out day. What we do depends on the season, weather, and what’s happening around camp.
