Winter Day Camp
The holidays are over, but there’s still a whole week before school starts again.
There’s no better place for kids to spend it than YMCA Camp Immokalee. Winter Day Camp in Keystone Heights means five days outside with other kids, playing games, trying camp activities, and getting in on a few things we save just for this time of year.
When they need a break from screens, they can get outside with us.
December 28, 2026–January 1, 2027*
Ages 5–14 • Monday–Friday • 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Day Camp: $120 | Adventure: $100
Registration opens in early November.
Winter Break at Immokalee
Camp doesn’t look exactly the same in December as it does in July.
Kids still spend their days playing games, making things, heading around camp for activities, and getting plenty of time outside with their group. But we add some winter ridiculousness, too.
And yes, Day Camp can take the Polar Plunge into Lake Brooklyn.
It is exactly as cold as Lake Brooklyn in Florida gets. We’ll take it.
Two Ways to Spend the Week
Day Camp | Ages 5–11
Day campers spend the week with their group and counselors, moving around Camp Immokalee together for activities, games, meals, and plenty of time to play.
$120 for the week
Adventure | Ages 12–14
Adventure is built for kids who are ready for more independence and choice at camp.
During Winter Camp, they spend much of the day alongside our overnight campers and get more say in how they spend their time. They still arrive each morning and head home every evening.
$100 for the week
Good to Know
- Drop-off: 7:00–8:45 AM
- Pick-up: 4:30–6:00 PM

Can my camper bring a phone?
Day Camp is screen-free. Phones, tablets, smartwatches, and other connected devices should stay at home.
If you need to reach your camper during the day, call us. If we need you, we’ll call you.
What should my camper bring?
Campers should come ready to spend plenty of the day outside. Registered families will get a complete packing list before Winter Day Camp.
One More Week Before School
They could spend it at home.
Or they could spend it outside with other kids, playing, trying things around camp, and possibly starting the new year by jumping into Lake Brooklyn.
