Camp Immokalee is designed to be a home away from home for campers and the perfect destination for groups. Whether you’re joining us for summer camp or planning a retreat, we have the spaces and amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun. Below is an overview of our activity areas, cabins, dining facilities, and meeting spaces.

Cabins

Campers and retreat guests alike will find our cabins cozy and comfortable. All of our indoor cabins feature air conditioning and bunk-style sleeping arrangements. Here’s a look at our cabin options:

East Side Cabins

Built in the 1980s, these cabins are situated right on the shores of Lake Brooklyn, benefiting from a refreshing lake breeze. Each cabin is a duplex with front and back porches, providing beautiful views and easy access to the lake. These cabins feature indoor showers, sinks, and toilets.

Capacity: 14 people per duplex (12 campers, 2 counselors in the summer)

  • Wildlife 1 & 2
  • Bowen 1 & 2
  • Wilma 1 & 2

These cabins are ideal for families, campers, or groups who want to be close to the waterfront and enjoy easy access to activities.

West Side Cabins

Our legendary West Side cabins have been part of Camp Immokalee’s history for decades. Recently renovated (since 2019), these Florida Cracker-style cabins feature bunk beds and share a communal bathhouse. Many cabins still have names and memories left by campers over the years, adding to their unique charm.

Capacity: 16 people per cabin (14 campers, 2 counselors in the summer), except for Owls, which sleeps 24.

  • Owls (our largest cabin, with a large open space in the center)

For groups seeking a rustic yet comfortable experience, these cabins offer a mix of history and modern amenities.

Adventure Village

The newest addition to Camp Immokalee’s cabin offerings, Kokomo, is part of our Adventure Village. This ADA-accessible cabin includes a spacious indoor meeting and hangout area, as well as a private toilet and sink.

Capacity: 20 people (17 campers, 3 counselors in the summer)

In addition, two new yurts will soon join Kokomo in the Adventure Village, each offering an open space in the middle and access to the brand-new bathhouse.

Adventure Village is perfect for groups seeking a more modern and flexible accommodation option.

Meeting Spaces for Groups

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting spaces to accommodate groups of all sizes. Whether you’re hosting a retreat, corporate event, or family gathering, our spaces are flexible and functional:

  • Dining Hall: Seats up to 130 people, and includes a projector for presentations or meetings.
  • Day Camp Hut: A small, cozy space that seats up to 20 people. Please note, there is no internet access.
  • Office/Camp Store: A smaller indoor space that can seat 15 people. It includes a TV for projection and has internet access.
  • Airnasium: An outdoor, covered space that can hold up to 300 people—ideal for large gatherings or events. No internet available.
  • Amphitheater: A beautiful outdoor space seating up to 250 people for performances, ceremonies, or campfires. No internet available.
  • Koppa Kabana: An intimate outdoor space seating up to 30 people, perfect for small groups. No internet available.

These meeting spaces are available to both camp programs and rental groups, ensuring that your event or gathering has the perfect space to suit your needs. We also have acres of beautiful live oaks and lakefront with picnic tables situated around camp.

Bathhouses

  • East Side Cabins: Each cabin includes its own showers, sinks, and toilets inside.
  • West Side Bathhouse: A shared bathhouse serving West Side cabins, recently updated to meet camper and guest needs.
  • New Bathhouse: Serving Adventure Village, this new facility includes 8 individual stalls (with toilets, showers, and sinks), 2 of which are ADA accessible. It also includes two washers and dryers for added convenience.

Dining Hall

Our Dining Hall is a central hub for meals, community, and camp traditions. It currently seats 130 people and will be expanded to accommodate 300 people by summer 2026, thanks to state funding. The Dining Hall is perfect for hosting large group meals, workshops, or gatherings. It is equipped with a projector and screen, making it a great space for presentations.

If your group has specific dietary needs, such as vegetarian or gluten-free options, we’re happy to accommodate them—just let us know in advance.

Activity Areas

Our wide range of activity spaces ensures there’s something for everyone, whether it’s adventure, creativity, or team-building. Here’s a look at where the action happens:

These activity areas are available to all campers during their stay and can be rented by groups for special events or retreats.
