Thinking about overnight camp but not sure what it actually looks like? Totally normal. Parents who have never been to camp usually wonder things like:

• What do the cabins look like
• Where do kids shower
• What and where do they eat
• How does it all feel in real life

Our Tour Times let you see the answers in person. A staff member will walk you around camp, show you key spaces, and answer questions along the way. It is relaxed, helpful, and designed for first-time families.

On the tour you will:

  • Step inside a cabin
  • See bathhouses and dining spaces
  • Walk the lakefront and adventure areas
  • Learn how schedules work
  • Hear how we support first-time campers
  • Meet the people who will be caring for your child

These open houses are drop in, with tours starting every 30 minutes beginning at 2:15pm.

Tour Times

Who this is great for:

• Families considering overnight camp for the first time
• Kids who need to picture where they will sleep and play
• Parents who want to meet the staff in person
• Anyone curious about camp life

Guided tours make it easier for kids to imagine themselves at camp and easier for parents to ask real questions. There is no sales pitch and no pressure to sign up on the spot.

Just clarity, confidence, and a chance to see camp with your own eyes.

RSVP – Not Required, But Helpful!

Other Tours

Tour Times are the best way to see camp. You’ll get the full walk-through, meet staff, and see all the spaces without us having to work around programs and groups.

We can do personal tours, but they are limited and not always the right fit. Here’s what to know:

  • We do not offer personal tours in May, June, July, or August because camp is in session (or about to be!).
  • We host a lot of rental groups on weekends, so we cannot do every Saturday or Sunday.
  • Tours Times are the simplest way for most families to see camp.

If you cannot make our Tour Times and want to talk through options, email cimmokalee@fcymca.org with a few dates that work. We will look at the calendar together and see if a personal tour makes sense.

If you are shopping for a retreat or group rental, same process. Reach out and we will help you figure out next steps.
