Camp Store
Our camp store is a fun, low-pressure spot where campers can grab snacks, drinks, shirts, hats, and small souvenirs throughout the week. Parents can also shop during check-in and check-out, and items are available online if you want your camper to arrive geared up.
Below, we’ve got more info to help camp store feel like a breeze!
How Your Camper Pays (No Cash Needed)
Campers use a pre-loaded camp store balance, which you’ll add during registration. When they want to purchase something, they simply give the staff member their name, and the amount is deducted from their account.
Our staff are trained to help kids understand their spending. They’ll share the camper’s current balance after each checkout.
You’ll also be able to check your camper’s balance from home in real time (balance only, not the individual items) and add more if you’d like.
Please note: Camp store funds are non-refundable, including any remaining balance at the end of the summer. Be sure to plan accordingly when deciding how much to add.
Talk With Your Camper Before Camp
A quick chat at home goes a long way. We set limits on the amount of daily snacks and drinks each camper can purchase. We offer advice on merch, but at the end of the day, we let campers decide. Setting expectations together helps your camper feel confident and prevents surprises.
Snacks, Drinks, and Treats
Campers can choose daily snacks and drinks within set limits to help them feel their best during activities.
Typical Pricing:
- Snacks: $1–$3
- Ice Cream: $2–$5
- Drinks: $2–$4
To help keep critters out of the cabins, campers are not allowed to bring snacks from home (unless severe allergies or medical conditions are involved). Camp store snacks do not go into cabins.
Merchandise & Souvenirs
We carry a wide mix of items for all ages:
- T-shirts
- Hats & water bottles
- Stickers & small toys
- Miscellaneous other items
Prices range from $1–$30 depending on the item.
You can also shop during drop-off or pick-up, which many families love for souvenirs and shirts.
How Much Money Should I Add?
Most families add $20–$60 per week, depending on:
- your camper’s age
- how much merch they typically enjoy
- whether they want ice cream or specialty snacks
If you’re unsure, it’s perfectly fine to start small — you can always add more later.
Adding More Money During the Week
Need to top up? No problem. You can add funds in CampBrain anytime. We’ll also send a mid-session reminder if your camper’s balance drops below $5, so you’re never caught off guard.
What Happens if My Camper Runs Out of Money?
They’ll still get all meals and never go hungry, but they won’t be able to buy extra snacks or merchandise unless more funds are added.
How We Support Responsible Spending
We offer gentle guidance to younger campers (“That shirt is $25 — is that what you want to spend your balance on?”), but ultimately it’s your camper’s account and their decisions. Your pre-camp conversation sets them up for success.
What Happens to Unused Store Money?
Any unused store balance rolls forward to future summer Camp Immokalee sessions. At the end of the summer, any remaining funds go directly toward improving the camp experience for all campers.
We do not issue refunds for unused store funds.
