Camp Immokalee & Our Community

Proudly Serving Keystone Heights and the Lake Region

Camp Immokalee has been a special place for families, friends, and neighbors across the Lake Region for generations. We’re more than just a camp—we’re the Lake Region’s Y, dedicated to bringing people together through nature, adventure, and community. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, we invite you to be part of the Camp Immokalee story and connect with us in ways that are meaningful to you.

How We’re Involved in the Community

Our roots run deep in Keystone Heights and the surrounding Lake Region. Our team is actively involved in local organizations like the Keystone Heights Kiwanis Club, SafetyNet, Women’s Club, local churches, and more. By partnering with these organizations, we stay connected to the heart of our community and bring valuable resources back to our campers and families.

  • A Legacy in the Community: For generations, local families have attended, worked, and grown up at Camp Immokalee. It’s a shared tradition that we’re proud to carry forward, creating new memories while honoring the past.
  • A Place for Local Clubs and Events: Camp Immokalee is more than a summer camp—we’re a community gathering space. We host Kiwanis Club meetings, community gatherings, and local events throughout the year. If your organization needs a venue for meetings or events, we’re happy to share our space.

We Are the Lake Region’s Y

Camp Immokalee is proud to be the Lake Region’s YMCA, dedicated to supporting Keystone Heights and surrounding areas in unique and impactful ways. While we may not have a traditional wellness center or public pool, we bring Y programming to our community that reflects what matters here. We’re a different kind of YMCA, one focused on connecting people through nature, adventure, and community.

If there’s a program or service you’d love to see, let us know! Whether it’s more family activities, youth programs, water safety, or health and wellness initiatives, we want to serve our community in ways that make the biggest difference.

Programs & Services for Local Families

Day Camp for Kids

Camp Immokalee’s day camp program offers a full camp experience for kids in Keystone Heights and nearby areas. Kids get to explore, learn, and make new friends while staying close to home. Learn more about our Day Camp options here.

Before & After School Programs

Looking for before or after school care? Through our First Coast Y family, programs are available right here in the community at McRae Elementary and Keystone Heights Elementary. Although Camp Immokalee doesn’t directly provide this care, we’re proud to be part of an organization that supports local families in so many ways. The Y’s Youth Development team runs these programs, offering a safe and supportive space for kids beyond school hours. Financial assistance is available to make sure every family has access to quality care and enrichment.
