Summer Programs at YMCA Camp Immokalee
A Summer of Fun, Friendship, and Growth
At YMCA Camp Immokalee, we believe summer camp is where kids get to be themselves—exploring the outdoors, trying new things, and building friendships that last far beyond the season. Whether your child is staying with us for a week of overnight camp, spending their days at camp and evenings at home, or stepping into leadership as a teen, there’s something here for everyone. Let’s dive into the experiences that make our camp so special.
Overnight Summer Camp
Every day at Overnight Summer Camp brings new adventures. Campers start their mornings with the energy of the flagpole gathering, then head off for a day full of fun—whether it’s testing their skills in archery, taking a ride on the zipline, or cooling off with water games on the lake. They’ll spend time with new friends, try out team challenges, and share stories around the campfire.
It’s not just about the activities, though—it’s about the sense of belonging. At Camp Immokalee, every camper becomes part of our community, growing their confidence and independence with the support of experienced staff and friends by their side. By the end of the week, they’ll leave with memories of adventures shared, whether they conquered the Power Pole or simply laughed over s’mores by the fire.
Ready for an unforgettable summer?
Summer Day Camp
For kids who want all the excitement of camp without staying overnight, Summer Day Camp is the perfect option. From morning meetups to teambuilding games, campers spend their days running through obstacle courses, learning new skills, and diving into creative projects. Whether they’re splashing in the pool, racing down the zipline, or teaming up for a scavenger hunt, every day brings something new.
Even though they go home in the evenings, day campers are part of the same community as our overnight campers, and they get just as much out of their time here. It’s the perfect way to experience the magic of Camp Immokalee while staying close to home.
Teen Leader (CIT) Program
Teens in our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program don’t just participate in camp—they help run it. As CITs, they work alongside our staff, learning what it takes to lead activities, mentor younger campers, and keep the camp community running smoothly. They’ll practice leadership through hands-on experience, whether it’s organizing a teambuilding game or making sure campers are ready for their next adventure.
It’s a program built for teens who want to grow their confidence and take on real responsibility while still enjoying all the fun that comes with camp. Along the way, they’ll form strong bonds with their fellow CITs and younger campers, learning lessons that will serve them long after camp is over.
Help your teen step into leadership this summer.
