As part of the First Coast YMCA and an Armed Services YMCA affiliate, YMCA Camp Immokalee is committed to honoring and supporting military families year-round. Through the generosity of donors and grant funding, we offer camp scholarships and substantial discounts to the children of active duty military members (including National Guard and Reservists) and veterans, creating a supportive space for military kids to experience adventure, friendship, and growth.

Beyond Camp Immokalee, military families also gain access to additional YMCA benefits through the First Coast YMCA Military Outreach Program, designed to support service members and veterans across Northeast Florida. With these offerings, YMCA Camp Immokalee becomes part of a larger, military-friendly community dedicated to wellness, support, and connection.

Your Military Discount

We’re honored to extend exclusive discounts to military families for our Summer Camp sessions. Current and former military service members may receive the following discounts for Summer 2025.

To access your discount, simply register your camper, complete the Military Information form, pay the deposit, and email us at cimmokalee@fcymca.org to confirm your eligibility. Discounts apply to one week of overnight camp per camper, and we’re here to help make this process as smooth as possible.

Why the Difference?

Thanks to specific grant funding, we’re able to offer deeper discounts for E1-E5 families. However, we understand that E6+ and former service members may also need additional support. If this discount isn’t sufficient to make camp accessible for your family, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance. While financial aid and military discounts cannot be combined, financial assistance may provide a larger benefit based on your circumstances.

How to Receive Your Military Discount

1. Register Your Camper – Complete the standard registration on our website, including the required $150 deposit for summer resident camp.
2. Fill Out the Military Information Form – During registration, provide details about your service member’s status/rank and relationship to the camper.
3. Email Us to Confirm – Send an email to cimmokalee@fcymca.org with your service member’s status/rank and relationship to your camper, and we’ll apply the appropriate discount to your account.

Through our partnership with the First Coast YMCA, military families are invited to take advantage of special YMCA benefits, including:

• Discounted YMCA Memberships: Military families are eligible for discounted memberships at all First Coast YMCA locations, providing access to wellness facilities, fitness classes, family programs, and more.
• Military-Specific Events and Programs: First Coast YMCA hosts programs like family fun days, special holiday events, and military appreciation days, bringing military families together in a supportive community.
• Annual Veterans Retreat: Sponsored by the Sierra Club, our annual Veterans Retreat offers a free weekend of relaxation, adventure, and connection for veterans and their families at Camp Immokalee. This weekend is a chance for veterans to unwind, build community, and enjoy nature in a peaceful setting.
