We ❤️ Camp Weekend
February 13-15 | Grades K-9
Y Members: $140 | Non-Members: $165
We Love Camp Weekend is a two-night overnight camp experience at YMCA Camp Immokalee, intentionally designed for families who are new to overnight camp or want an easy, confident first step.
In February, camp looks and feels a little different in the best way. The pace is calmer. Staff have more time to connect. Kids settle in quickly and form friendships fast. It creates space for campers to experience what camp really feels like without the pressure of a full summer week.
Campers sleep in cabins, play outside, gather around campfires, and take part in camp traditions that help them feel included and cared for. Our team knows many campers are here for the first time, and they focus on helping every child feel comfortable, supported, and part of the group.
This weekend is real camp. Just shorter. And often the moment families realize camp is a good fit for their child.
What Your Camper Will Do This Weekend
We ❤️ Camp Weekend is built around shared experiences that help kids have fun and feel part of the group right away.
Over the course of the weekend, your camper will take part in:
- Valentine-themed cabin activities like kindness notes and small group challenges
- Mardi Gras-inspired games, mask making, and a camp-style parade
- Big group games that get everyone moving, laughing, and working together
- Campfires with songs, stories, and time to wind down together
- Classic Camp Immokalee activities woven throughout the day
Because this is a shorter weekend, activities are intentionally chosen to keep kids engaged without feeling rushed. There is always a clear plan and plenty of structure, but also time for campers to relax, talk, and build friendships.
The goal is simple. Kids should go to bed tired, happy, and already feeling like they belong.
Why February Is a Great Time to Try Camp
February is a natural moment for families to pause and take stock.
School-year routines are settled, kids are ready for something fun to look forward to, and summer plans are starting to feel more real. This weekend gives your child a chance to experience overnight camp before summer decisions start to feel time-sensitive.
Summer camp registration is already open, and historically, sessions begin to fill shortly after this weekend as families finalize their plans. Attending now gives your family the chance to decide with confidence instead of feeling rushed later.
For many families, this weekend provides clarity at exactly the right moment.
