Camp life is busy in the greatest of ways. Each day is filled with new adventures and opportunities to enjoy the summer!
Resident and Day Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as Camp Immokalee, where campers become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social, and educational activities.
One of the coolest things about Camp Immokalee is that you get to choose your five main activities each week. At the beginning of each week, you pick out five activities that you will take over the next five days. These activities provide opportunities for campers to try new things in a safe learning environment or continue to do something they love! Activity schedules are designed to give each camper a host of new experiences as well as a chance to gain proficiency in new skills. Resident campers experience the full day listed below, and day campers experience all of what they’re with us for. No day is typical at Immokalee, but here is a sample of what a day of fun might include:
